Cool it Schools

'We Think The World of Trees' is one of our themes this year for The Big Draw (see Cool it Frog and Hippos with Humps for more things to draw). So join in and celebrate The Big Draw's 10th birthday from 1-31 October 2009.

Cool it Schools is asking young people from around the world to draw a tree, any sort of tree from Bonsai to to Banyan, Palm to Plum, magical, mythical and symbolic: we can't wait to see what you create. Simply ask your teacher or project leader to register for a free showcase on www.coolitschools.com, pop down to your nearest tree and get drawing. How about visiting a botanical garden, a local park or just make up your own sort of tree, it could be out of this world! We will also show you how to make your own 'forest' from the shared images available on CoolitSchools and we are planning to reconstruct a wonderful forest from your trees and put it on public display at the Eden Project in Cornwall - the largest rainforest in captivity. http://www.edenproject.com
