Recycled Humans

A project carried out by year 7 students at Heston Community School in London. The project, led by artist Michelle Charles, was to recreate people out of waste. Much of our waste is non biodegradable and a fair amount of it unnecessary too. Production of all this stuff contributes to global warming and so threatens human survival. We wanted to draw attention to the fact that people can't be created from rubbish so we set about making life sized figures from it. Here's how we got on.
