350.org 'The Fragility of Numbers'
On Saturday 24th October a worldwide civil action called 350.org took place. This figure refers to 350 parts per million as the safe level of carbon the atmosphere can contain. Go beyond this number and we are in trouble. Visit www.350.org and find out about this critically important global event.Cool it Schools (Jane and Amanda) encouraged the public to create two beautiful public art works on the 24th, upstairs at the National Geographic Store, 83-97 Regent Street, London W1 to mark the occasion. Visiting adults and children took part and together we made these lovely collages. We were really excited to meet with teachers, one from the Lebanon and one from Greece, so we hope they will be registering for a showcase for their students and joining Cool it Schools when they get home.
