Cardinal Wiseman School has the most wonderful wildlife garden. Here are some images of the wildlife they have attracted to the school grounds and the pond. Projects for this year will include setting up a lot of new bee hotels and participating in the Natural History Museum's cherry tree census.
Cardinal Wiseman has agreed to be a lead school and center of excellence for the Concrete Jungle Project. As such they represent how much a single school can achieve for biodiversity and we hope many schools will be inspired and encouraged to do the same.
Dr Adam Bates from Opal is also featured showing the children how to make bee hotels and telling them fascinating facts about soliatry bees.
