Secondary schools: don’t delay, free homework diaries for the next academic year 2010/11 are available for all UK secondary schools while stocks last – but you must order before January 30th.
The Wise Choices? Europa diaries are funded by the European Commission and are aimed at 14-18 year olds. They are a week-to-view calendar and have articles in the front on a range of topics covering citizenship, the EU, health issues, financial matters, the internet, climate change, energy and sustainable concepts. Teacher’s notes accompany each box of 25 diaries.
Please note: the diaries are free and the distribution is free and they come highly recommended by teachers who received them last year. The only commitment is to fill in a feedback form to say what you thought of the diaries and how useful they were to you.
Please email ann@iamtomorrow.co.uk. You can order for a whole year group – up to 500 student copies.
Here are some comments from teachers who ordered last year:
"This year's diaries are superb. They have some excellent articles that help us delivery our citizenship goals."
"They have been so useful and have fitted into the citizenship work we cover with our students. I have especially found the links to topics of economic wellbeing, financial capability, staying safe and human rights extremely useful"
"We constantly refer to them throughout the year when looking at issues, such as consumer issues and human rights"
