Cool it World: connecting people to create a low carbon future.

Cool it World.com brings together businesses and services committed to high ethical standards, low carbon footprints and the importance of being pro-active to protect the future of the planet. 

Cool it World privides a marketplace for concerned consumers looking for principled businesses, products and services.

Cool it World provides links to the best independent advice so that producers and consumers can make informed changes that save energy and money, while protecting the environment and supporting local (UK or global) communities.

How it works for businesses and services

Cool it World will charge a membership fee of £50 per annum in return for a Cool it World Window. Windows are online templates in which you promote your product, project or service. 

People can find your 'window' using our online search tool and Cool it Maps. Your customers contact you directly and there are no commissions.

If you would like to be a Member and have a Cool it World Window there are 2 criteria you need to meet

Your ethical products must be made entirely in the UK or in partnership with an ethical global community working to Fair Trade standards.

Your services must contribute to your local community, carbon reduction and global wellbeing.

You want the natural world and local communities to flourish.

If the answer is yes to the above, than you can be a Cool it World Member and your Window will be activated.

Where do membership fees go? Cool it World is a not for profit social enterprise. Membership will cover core costs including Cool it Schools.com the children's creative environmental programme.

Surplus income will form the Cool it World Fund and donated to programmes and causes that Members feel are of benefit to global wellbeing. Our accounts will be available online. There will be an independent assessor appointed to this fund.

I do not run a business or provide a service, can I still join Cool it World?

Yes you can. Please become a Supporter for a donation of £10 per annum and your name will pop into our 'honeycomb'. If you would like to be a voting Member the annual fee is £25.

We are now inviting Founder Members and  Supporters to join so how about becoming a Member or Supporter of Cool it World this Christmas and help us to create a sustainable, low carbon country.
